This was supposed to be a precious and special time in your life. But instead you are overwhelmed with worry, exhaustion, guilt and sadness. You might feel you aren’t made for this, that you aren’t good enough. You are not alone. Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders are the most common complications in child birth. The good news is, therapy can help. I draw on a number of effective modes of therapy depending upon symptoms, presentation, and personality. These include CBT, mindfulness, positive psychology, IFS, and solution based therapy. Your treatment will be personalized and individual to you.
